Since I bought my Z-coils, I have experienced little if any back pain from the scoliosis I have had since childhood. My sciatica is dissipated to the point that I am now pain free in both hips. I can stand for long periods (1-1/2 hours), whereas before I could not stand for more than 5 minutes. I can walk longer distances (7 hours), whereas before I would be in pain within minutes.

I cannot, and will not, wear any other kind of shoe. Before I bought these shoes, I was in such agony on a daily basis, I felt I was ready for a wheelchair or scooter. Now I walk during lunch, anywhere from 20 - 30 minutes per day.

I cannot imagine wearing any other kind of shoe. I get comments from co-workers and people I come in contact with wanting to know why I am wearing the "special shoes". I do not hesitate in telling them everything I know about Z-Coils.

My husband and I pack with llamas and one would think that any boot would work for me since the llamas are carrying most of the load. I purchased the Z-Coil hikers in San Diego. After purchasing the boots, I participated in two pack trials with my llama. That is where we hike in the mountains for 5 miles while going over numerous obstacles such as dead-fall, crossing streams, jumping over downed trees, and navigating through rubble and boulders. Needless to say, the Z-Coils created a lot of curiosity and questions among the other participants in the pack trials. After returning from the pack trials, we hiked 17 miles to the top of the highest mountain in Southern California and again, the Z-Coils were a dream come true. My feet felt so good at the end of the day and I didn't have to deal with my usual back, neck and head aches which typically follow a day or two of hiking.

I have 6 pairs of Z-coils! (I converted one pair to dancing shoes by having "dance soles" put on them, I like them so much.) Your Z-CoiL shoes are a miracle! I have been off work for over one year, now going on two years because of plantar fasciitis. I have had three different podiatrists, as well. I have had numerous orthotics, from the rigid to the softest, none of which reduced the pain, especially in the heel. Then I was given a series of shots, from cortisone to steroids, and even shots to dissolve nerves in my heels. Nothing worked!

I was only 43 and did not want to give up work due to all the heel pain I endured. Then I ran into a person at random who was wearing a pair of Z-CoiL shoes. My fiancée and I were on a trip recently in Scottsdale, Arizona, and came across a Z-CoiL shoe store. We laughed out loud and went in to inquire about what we saw on the shelf. After the owner explained the footwear and allowed us to try them on, we went, "Wow!!!" We both ended up buying the shoes: one pair of black work boots and the hiker style.

I wore them to work, as I work for a major aircraft manufacturing plant, and fell in love with these shoes. No more leg pain, as I walk quite a bit on cement floors.
